VIoT Group accompanies Ho Chi Minh City at the Celebration of the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, August 19, 2025 – On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a solemn reception with the participation of the city’s leaders, diplomatic missions, international organizations, the business community, and international partners.
In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Mr. Miguel Angel Ferrer - Chief Executive Officer of the Renewable Energy Division and Chief Investment Officer of VIoT Group, and at the same time Chairman of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BELUXCham), attended the event. His presence demonstrated VIoT’s commitment to Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam in the process of international integration, green economic development, and smart city building.
The vision of a megacity and the accompanying role of enterprises
Speaking at the ceremony, H.E. Nguyen Van Duoc – Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee emphasized the development orientation after the merger with Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau, aiming at the goal of forming a megacity – a center of finance, manufacturing, logistics, and innovation on a regional and global scale. This vision requires the concerted efforts of the entire society, including the companionship of the domestic and international business community.
Sharing this vision, VIoT Group is oriented toward developing technology- and renewable energy-based solutions, while implementing projects in the fields of AIoT, smart energy management, Lighting-as-a-Service (LaaS), and Energy Efficiency-as-a-Service (EEaaS). These initiatives aim to optimize operations, save energy, and reduce emissions, thereby contributing to building a sustainable infrastructure foundation for urban development.

Notably, at the event, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc shared:
