Within the framework of the program “Building a Sustainable Business Community in Ho Chi Minh City 2025”, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in coordination with the Vietnam Real Estate Association and BambuUp, on August 29, 2025, at CT Innovation Hub, Mr. Nguyen Bach Viet - Founder and CEO of VIoT Group - shared the topic: “VEEP Solution - AIoT Platform for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Industrial Zones, and Factories”

At the outset, Mr. Viet emphasized that energy is not merely an operational cost but can become a source of profit if managed intelligently.

According to reputable reports shared by Mr. Viet, commercial buildings, retail centers, and industrial zones are significant sources of CO₂ emissions. However, many investors still prioritize short-term profits, using inefficient equipment and fragmented operational systems. Upgrading infrastructure requires substantial capital and can disrupt production. In the context of the Net Zero 2030 goal and increasingly strict ESG regulations, businesses are compelled to act to avoid the risk of asset devaluation and reduced competitiveness.

The solution developed by VIoT Group is the AMIGO Digital IP Platform, applying AIoT. This system enables intelligent monitoring and measurement, optimizes lighting and HVAC for 30-45% energy savings, automates energy operations, and integrates solar power and storage batteries. The data collected is used to build a transparent ESG roadmap that can be verified according to international standards.

Real-world projects have demonstrated the effectiveness: McDonald’s Vietnam achieved 20% energy savings and a 24% reduction in CO₂; Tan Son Nhat Golf Course reduced lighting electricity consumption by 40%; AEON Mall monitors energy in real time using LoRaWAN. Notably, Majestic Saigon Hotel was selected as the EEaaS pilot project in 2025, optimizing energy while preserving heritage. VIoT Group also deployed LoRaWAN infrastructure for DEEP C Industrial Zone and Da Nang City, expanding applications for smart city development.

In addition to technology, VIoT Group is also pioneering the Energy Efficiency-as-a-Service (EEaaS) model. With flexible contract packages, businesses can save up to 70% of costs without any initial capital investment, achieving savings from day one. Notably, this approach simultaneously reduces expenses and enhances ESG performance.

VIoT Group’s credibility has been recognized through numerous awards, including VietChallenge 2018, Vietnam Smart Cities 2021, AIoT & Smart Cities 2019, as well as support from the Google for Startups Cloud Program 2025, P4G Vietnam 2025, and many other prestigious accolades.

In conclusion, Mr. Nguyen Bach Viet affirmed: “ESG is not a cost. If energy is invested in the right way, it is a real saving and also a sustainable source of profit”. From this message, VEEP offers the business community, industrial zones, and factories in Ho Chi Minh City a fresh and practical perspective on the path toward a green, intelligent, and efficient future.

VIoT Group helps businesses address familiar challenges: rising electricity costs, aging and inefficient equipment, and increasingly stringent ESG reporting requirements. Instead of making a large initial investment, companies can immediately apply the EEaaS model and see savings from the first month. Transparent and easily traceable data also supports reporting, enhancing brand credibility with partners and customers. As a result, VIoT Group’s AMIGO platform is not only a technology platform but also a trusted companion that helps businesses operate more efficiently, flexibly, and sustainably.
