VIoT & VEEP, Actility and Fonda Tech join forces at Smart City Asia 2025

Affirming technological capabilities – Strengthening international cooperation – Towards sustainable smart cities.


From May 5 to 7, 2025, VIoT Technology Joint Stock Company cooperated with two global strategic partners – Actility  and Fonda Tech – to participate in the Smart City Asia 2025 exhibition, an international-scale smart city technology event, held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City.

As a pioneer in deploying IoT infrastructure in Vietnam, VIoT is honored to introduce to the technology community and policy makers an integrated smart city solution ecosystem, with a combination of:

  • Flexible IoT connection infrastructure, easy to expand, directly deployed by VIoT in many localities;

  • ThingPark Enterprise platform from Actility - the world's leading IoT connectivity solution, applying LoRaWAN® technology with high reliability, security and scalability;

  • Fonda Tech's smart sensors, urban lighting and control solutions, designed to suit urban conditions in Vietnam and the Asia region.


Marking a new development in international cooperation, the announcement ceremony of the 3-party strategic cooperation: An important milestone to promote urban digital transformation

A notable highlight at the event was the announcement ceremony of the 3-party strategic cooperation between VIoT - Actility - Fonda Tech, solemnly held within the framework of the exhibition.


The announcement ceremony marked the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership, with the goal of jointly:

  • Implementing smart urban projects in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.

  • Coordinating research and development of new technology solutions suitable for local characteristics.

  • Enhance the integration between infrastructure, platforms and devices, towards a real-time urban management model, saving resources and improving the quality of life for people.

The ceremony was attended and witnessed by the leaders of the three companies, representatives of state management agencies, international organizations and many partners in the technology - infrastructure industry.

Technology Experience Space – A place where comprehensive solutions converge


At the E30 booth display area, VIoT and its partners brought visitors the opportunity to experience intuitively the practical application models of smart cities, including:


🔹 Smart urban monitoring and management solutions based on LoRaWAN® technology, applied in:

  • Energy-saving public lighting systems that are easy to control remotely;

  • Smart real-time electricity and water metering, improving resource efficiency;

  • Monitoring urban infrastructure, helping to be proactive in maintenance and risk prevention;

  • Smart parking lot management, contributing to solving urban traffic problems;

  • Sensor systems to monitor air quality and waste and environmental treatment.


🔹 Demonstration of Actility's ThingPark Enterprise platform, providing powerful tools for deploying wide-area wireless connectivity systems, with the ability to integrate thousands of devices and sensors on the same platform, meeting the strict requirements of modern cities. 


🔹 Introducing Fonda Tech's smart device ecosystem, including solar lights, lampposts integrated with traffic - environment - security sensors, and the ability to flexibly expand applications according to the needs of each locality. 


🔹 In-depth discussion sessions, led by a team of experts from Vietnam, France and China, with content revolving around the combined application of IoT and artificial intelligence (AI) in optimizing urban operations, from the infrastructure level to advanced data analysis for decision making.

Recognition and positive feedback from the technology community


The Smart City Asia 2025 event attracted thousands of visits from state management agencies, businesses, technology experts, urban operators and international organizations. 


The VIoT – Actility – Fonda Tech booth became a highlight at the exhibition area thanks to the practicality, widespread deployment capabilities and potential applications in many fields of the introduced solutions.
