VIoT AT “STARTUPS CONNECTING HUB – PITCH & MEET” EVENT

On November 22 and 29, Mr. Viet Nguyen, CEO of VIoT Technology Group, participated in the Startups Connecting Hub event organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in collaboration with JobHopin Vietnam, held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

This event was part of the JETRO DX Digital Transformation Project, aiming to connect Vietnamese startups with Japanese corporations and venture capital investors operating in Vietnam.

A total of 12 promising Vietnamese startups from various sectors — including education, energy, finance, and blockchain — presented their business ideas, received valuable feedback, and explored potential funding opportunities from Japanese investors.

The event brought together nearly 100 participants representing Vietnamese startups, digital transformation companies, major Japanese corporations, and several media organizations.

During the Pitch Session, the 12 invited Vietnamese startups presented their strengths, technological capabilities, and key solutions, attracting significant interest from Japanese attendees. Immediately afterward, a Business Matching session took place, featuring 17 one-on-one discussions between Japanese corporations and Vietnamese startups, focusing on collaboration and partnership opportunities.

Participating as a guest presenter, VIoT shared its technology applications in smart lighting infrastructure. The company highly appreciated the importance of the Startups Connecting Hub event, recognizing its strong contribution to the growth of Vietnam’s startup ecosystem.

VIoT looks forward to further opportunities for collaboration with Japanese partners, and hopes to see more impactful and meaningful events like this in the near future.
